Kaktus App offers tourists an affordable opportunity to find someone who has the same interests in a city they're visiting. There are so many interesting people to meet, but it's difficult to get to them unless you're both members of some community or have a common friend. With Kaktus App it's easy.

Kaktus App is based on sharing economy - everyone can join. Our goal is to create a diverse group of Kaktus Gurus (that's how we call the locals) in every city. We want to encourage people to get to know other cultures and ways of life - it's not only about the city tours.

Connect with local residents (Kaktus Gurus) and explore the world's most exciting cities with them. Match with the ones that have the same interests as you and enjoy their local knowledge.

For example, if you're into history you can easily match yourself with a Kaktus Guru who's into history too. This way you'll learn much more about what you're interested in as opposed to booking and having a tour with a traditional, universal guide.

We believe that exploring a city with a local makes the whole trip more fun & authentic.

We want our Kaktus Gurus to be ordinary local people, not professional guides. Every person has a unique story to tell and a unique worldview to share.

Kaktus Gurus can set their hourly rates. They can also choose to provide tours for free with a possibility for you to tip them after the tour if you're satisfied.
